G-4, United States Army Reserve Command’s (USARC) primary initiative of ARLOG XXI which is directed toward improving readiness by placing portions of units’ equipment into long-term strategic storage. To support the ARLOG XXI Program in Gulfport, MS, 300,000 square feet of controlled humidity storage is used to store and maintain equipment for a period of up to 5 years or until required for missions. ALOG Corporation is an arm of the USARC, DCS, G-4 in the operation of this facility.ALOG Corporation is responsible for:
Maintaining equipment IAW Technical Manual (TM) -10/-20 standards

Developing and implementing a battery maintenance program

Supply and storage management by documenting receipts, issue, store, inventory and accounting for Class II and Class VII supplies placed in the facility.

Recording and maintaining documentation regarding receipt, turn-in, issue and/or transfer of equipment.

Developing and implementing a contingency plan that would support emergency operations on a 24-hour basis at the facility

Performing warehouse functions to include movement, transfer, storage of equipment and material

Performing storage management to include packaging and preservation of equipment to Level C Protection

Inspecting and performing inventory on stored equipment

Maintaining the Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) Program IAW AR740.3.

Maintaining an asset balance file on all equipment maintained at the facility

Submitting Material Readiness Reports IAWAAR 220-1

Maintaining a planograph that displays all equipment stored

Updating and reconciling hand receipts with owning units every six (6) months

Conducting a 100% inventory, bi-annually, cyclic, or upon change of hand-receipt holders

Staging and loading equipment on transporters or moving the equipment to a staging area ALOG Corporation provides prime contract support to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS),
