Gilbert H. Edmondson

Mr. Edmondson, a founding member of ALOG, has more than 36 years of diverse logistics experience from both the corporate and Government perspective. He has a proven record of accomplishments in directing large logistical organizations and in managing multi-million dollar programs with industry and experience at the military wholesale and retail levels. He is responsible for ALOG technical operations At LESCO he has managed a number of contracts for such customers as NASA, Ft. Knox, US Army Soldier, Biological and Chemical Command and the Anniston Army Depot. In his previous job with AC Inc., he was the Director of Logistics and the Program Manager (PM) for several logistics contracts with the US Army Missile Command (MICOM, now AMCOM) and the Lead AMC Integration Support Office LAISO). A Senior Service College graduate, Mr. Edmondson has served as the Director, Readiness MICOM; Director, Materiel Management, National Inventory Control Point (NICP), Integrated Materiel Management Center MICOM; Commander, 1st Maintenance Battalion; Executive Officer, 1st ID Division Support Command; Commander, Division Materiel Management Center (DMMC), 1st ID; Assistant Chief of Staff, G4 Supply 1st Armored Division; and other positions to include Company Commander, Shop Officer, and Technical Supply Officer. Mr. Edmondson is also an employee of LESCO currently serving as Vice President for Marketing. He was previous Vice President for Alabama Operations which included responsibility for LESCO contracts providing installation services support at Ft. Bragg, Ft. Knox and Anniston Army Depot

 

Paul D. Smith

Mr. Smith, a founding member of ALOG, had a distinguished career as a military officer, retiring after 20 years of service. His military specialties included ammunition logistics (nuclear, chemical and conventional), explosive ordnance disposal and training. He had increasingly demanding and more responsible assignments in Vietnam, the Johnston Atoll, the Continental United States and Alaska. After retiring from the military, Mr. Smith entered private industry with a Huntsville 8(a) firm and in a period of five years rose from a Senior Logistics Analyst to Vice President of Operations and Business Development for a three-state area. Having established himself as a successful entrepreneur, he was asked by Ms. Williams to leave a successful career and assist her in founding LESCO. Mr. Smith accepted the challenge. He is a current member and officer of the Society of Logistics Engineers and a member of numerous professional societies and civic organizations. At ALOG he is in charge of business development.

 

James H. Ware, Jr.

Mr. Ware, also a founding member of ALOG, has over thirty-nine years of results-oriented success in professional management positions in highly competitive, diverse and dynamic organizations within the government and corporate sector. He is responsible for business operations. He possesses extensive experience, from Department of Army down to unit level, in logistics operations, specializing in maintenance and supply, contracting, program management, budget and financial management, and personnel administration. He has documented accomplishments in both general and technical management. Mr. Ware has managed multifaceted, multi-million dollar programs in the military and civilian environment. In the corporate sector he managed contracts at the retail level for customers at Fort Riley DOL, Fort Knox DOL, Anniston Army Depot and Supply Activities at Fort Irwin. At the wholesale level, he has supported the Pentagon, NASA and the Aviation Missile Command. An Army War College graduate, he served as the Deputy Director of the Logistics Transformation Agency (previously the Strategic Logistics Agency) where he made significant contributions to the National Maintenance Point Program, Single Stock Fund and was responsible for the Army Strategic Logistics Plan. Additional military experience includes Director of Training, Ordnance Missile and Munitions School; Commander of Combat Equipment Battalion West (POMCUS); Chief, Missile Systems Division, 200th Theater Army Material Management Center; Executive Officer, 60th Ordnance Group; Director of Procurement Policy; Contracting Officer and other positions to include Company Commander, Shop Officer and Technical Supply Officer. Mr. Ware is a strong leader with extensive capabilities in integrated logistics support and related disciplines involved in the support of defense and commercial systems, operations, and programs. At his previous company, Mr. Ware served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations; Senior Vice President of Technical Operations and Chief Operating Officer.
